"Tree of Life" is a tribute to resilience, captured through the lone fofoti tree standing strong on the windswept shores of Aruba. Bent and shaped by relentless trade winds, this tree is a symbol of survival—rooted in the harsh, sun-scorched sand, yet thriving against all odds. I was drawn to the contrast between the tree’s twisted form and the endless expanse of the turquoise sea behind it. The branches, reaching defiantly toward the sky, tell a silent story of endurance and adaptation. The golden light of the setting sun cast long shadows across the beach, emphasizing the textures of the gnarled bark and the soft ripples in the sand. This image is more than just a landscape—it’s a testament to God's ability to persevere us, to find beauty in struggle, and to help us stand tall no matter the challenges.
